NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police have arrested a man they say was taking his frustrations out on a neighbor's car.

Police responded just before midnight on Wednesday to a report of a man who was striking a vehicle with a blunt object at 186 Collette Street.

Police confronted the man, Jonathan Pina-Lomba, 26, of 188 Collette Street. Pina-Lomba admitted to bashing the car, saying he had a dispute with his neighbor.

The car's taillight and windshield were damaged.

Police arrested Pina-Lomba, and charged him with malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
