New Bedford Festival Announces High School Poetry Contest

Do you enjoy or have a gift for writing poetry?  The Working Waterfront Festival has announced their second annual High School Poetry Contest.   Students from area high schools are invited to compose original poetry about the commercial fishing industry.  Poem about fishermen, shoreside workers, fishing boats, fishing families, and other aspects of the working port may be submitted in any style.  Students are also welcome to enter more than one poem.   If you are interested, please visit the festival website for more information.  www.workingwaterfrontfestival.org
