Over the past few months, we've done a couple of live broadcasts from the Cobblestone District in New Bedford.  We are baffled by how fast people drive over the cobblestones.

Late in the summer, we made a last minute decision to broadcast the show live from the bottom of Union Street in New Bedford. It was a gorgeous day, so we set up shop and did our thing live on Fun 107. As we were there during the thick of rush hour, we were astonished by the number of drivers would FLY over the cobblestones.

Let me be clear, I'm not just saying that they didn't slow down for the cobblestones, I'm saying that many of these cars and trucks appeared to intentionally SPEED UP as they approached the cobblestones.

I mean, I can't even imagine what this would do to your suspension. If you drove like that over the cobblestones day after day, I don't know how you could avoid blowing your shocks and struts.

Look, I'm not trying to say that I never speed. This is not about speeding. It's about caring about your car. I'd never speed up as I approached speed bumps, and I cringe to think about speeding up over cobblestones.

It was so incredible, we had to pull out our phones and video some of the cars.
