New Bedford Drive-By Shooting Leaves Man Critical
A drive-by shooting Sunday night at Chancery and Middle streets in New Bedford sent an 18-year-old man to Rhode Island Hospital. When police arrived at the scene just after 9 p.m., they found him laying on the sidewalk with at least two gunshot wounds.
The unidentified victim had surgery last night and was listed in critical but stable condition. New Bedford police are asking anyone with information to call Detective William Sauve at (508) 991-6300, ext. 130.
