A group of dancers from New Bedford got a magical surprise while at Walt Disney World this week.

The Illusions Academy of Dance Performance Company were surprised by performers from Disney's 'The Lion King' Broadway show during their Disney performing arts trip.

Nia Holloway, Gerald Ramsey and Ben Lipitz, who are currently play Nala, Mufasa, and Pumbaa, respectively, on the national tour all took time from their rehearsals on Friday to visit with the group of New Bedford dance students.

According to Disney, the Illusions Academy dancers were in Disney to participate in a performing arts workshop at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and got quite the surprise during their own rehearsal!

The Lion King performers talked with the local dancers about their professional experiences and even brought the girls swag bags from the show.

And if that weren't enough excitement, Mickey Mouse came by too!

The dancers and the professionals both looked thrilled at Mickey's arrival!

The Disney Performing Arts program offers workshops and performance opporutinies for groups all over the country at both of the Disney resort locations.
