He's accused of holding-up four New Bedford convenience stores last summer, and now 27-year-old Matthew Pattee has been sentence to serve five to seven-and-a-half years in state prison.

You may recall that in one attempted robbery, Pattee was driven out of St. Elias Market on Rivet Street by the store's owner, who went after him with a stick. It was the second time he had attempted to rob that store.

Pattee also robbed Star market and Quick Mart II on Rivet Street, and Luk Oil on Rockdale Ave.
