New Bedford Convenience Store Robbed

The female clerk at Coggeshall Food Mart told police that just before noon on Sunday a man holding a small black gun walked into the store and demanded cash.

She described him as being in his 20's, about 5-feet 11-inches tall with an average build. He was wearing wire-rimmed glasses and was had on a dark gray hooded sweathsirt. T

he clerk was not injured and the robber took off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police are asking anyone with information to call Detective Scott Brown at (508) 991-6300, ext 131.
