New Bedford City Council Votes To Restore Funds For School Department

A big day for New Bedford Public Schools as the city council voted to restore $4 Million in funds for the New Bedford School Department.

On top of that , the voted for an additional $400,000 to the school department as well. They also pledged to save all the programs that would have been slated to be cut.

It is believed that the jobs that have already been cut, will be saved as well. Certainly a big day for all advocates of the school system.
