New Bedford Cab Driver Robbed At Gun Point

New Bedford Police report a female cab driver was robbed at gunpoint Saturday a little before 4 a.m., according to police. No one was injured.

The driver picked up two men at the Washington Club, and drove a short distance when a gun was put to her head, said Detective Sgt. Victor Mendes.

Both men, in their 20s, were wearing hooded sweatshirts; one red and one black. They took about $200, Mendes said. They were about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighed 150 pounds, he said.
