New Bedford Birthday Party Goes Bad

It was about 3:30 Sunday Morning when police were called to the Wamsutta Mills Complex near Route 18. They found one man badly beaten.

Their report says a birthday party had been going on at the apartment complex, when some people from Brockton showed up and tried to enter the building. They were not allowed inside, and a fight broke out.

That led to the serious injuries for one man, who was taken to Rhode Island Hopital in Providence. Police have released no names and no arrests have been made at this time.
