New Bedford and the Southcoast Dodge Another Winter Storm Bullet

Most of us woke up fearing for the worst when it came to snow, but as it turns out the Southcoast has lucked out once again.

Looking at the Riverside Park off Belleville Ave in New Bedford, you can see that the amount of snow we got was pretty small. Most reporting of about 3 inches on the ground, but not much more. Along the Cape in Barnstable county is reporting about the same numbers. It seems as though the storm stayed far enough off shore that we avoided any sort of devastating snow totals.

Along the coast in nearby Rhode Island they had similar totals, but just north of the Southcoast in the Milford, MA area we ar eonly getting reports of a dusting to an inch of snow on the ground.
