Mysterious "L3" Solo Cups On Overpass Solved

We finally found out what the red solo cups mean!

If you have traveled on the highways within the city of New Bedford and Mattapoisett recently, you probably noticed a bunch of red solo cups spelling out the phrase "L3" within the chained-link fences.

There were many suspicions, but we finally figured out what the cups mean.

Thanks to Mary's Steamed Cheeseburgers & Mini Hot Dogs page, we now know that the New Bedford Fire Department will be bringing home Ladder Truck 3 soon.

The Ladder Truck 3 was getting a nice new feature added to it: an extended ladder storage compartment.
