Happy Birthday: MTV Turns 32

It was something that changed the way we watched television, the launch of MTV. Really it was a window into our favorite music performers making creative videos to go with their music.  With the launch of MTV every artist had to make a video for their songs, artists like Michael Jackson saw their popularity soar when they put out a new video.  Now MTV doesn't even play music videos, there are other MTV channels that play them.  If you watch MTV now you will see shows like 'Teen Mom' and other reality based shows.  Remember the first video MTV played?  The Buggles 'Video Killed The Radio Star', the funny thing is it really didn't!
