One man was killed and three other people were injured following a crash involving two motorcycles.

Lakeville Police say that the accident was reported at 10:10 a.m. Sunday on Route 18 near Tamarack Park and involved two motorcycles and a vehicle.

Upon arrival firefighters discovered one of the motorcycle operators, identified only as a 77-year-old male, was dead at the scene.

A passenger, a 74-year-old woman, was medflighted to Rhode Island Hospital and the other motorcycle operator, a 54-year-old male, was taken to Rhode Island Hospital by ambulance.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 56-year-old female, was taken to Morton Hospital.

Police say the victims' names are being withheld until notification.

The incident remains under investigation and is being reconstructed by the Massachusetts State Police.

Middleboro Fire, Middleboro Police, Freetown Police, Freetown Fire, Plymouth County Sheriff's Office, and Massachusetts State Police assisted at the scene along with the investigation and Med Flight evacuation.
