In a press release this week, Massachusetts State Police have announced more Sobriety Checkpoints as we head into this upcoming weekend.

These checkpoints will take place both Friday and Saturday this week in Plymouth County which will affect the Southcoast towns of Wareham, Middleboro, Carver, parts of Rochester and the town of Plymouth of course.

The Sobriety Checkpoints scheduled for Plymouth County are in place to educate drivers and build more awareness of individuals operating vehicles while under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.  This should be a reminder to always drive responsibly and to never drink/do drugs and drive.

These Sobriety Checkpoints will be operated during various hours both Friday and Saturday.
