More Road Closures and Detours in Fall River

For about the next three weeks you might not get anywhere very fast.

The work begins Monday night in Fall River and will take place Mondays through Fridays from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following mornings, Southcoast Today says according to MassDOT.

There will be one lane open at night in each direction. The $220 million Route 79/Braga Bridge Improvements Project began three years ago in the fall of 2013 and is expected to be completed in mid-2017.

Lets hope this 3 week project doesn't take a tragic turn to another three years!
