Mookie Betts was not just focused on the Red Sox second win of the World Series, but he was concerned with the community after as well.

The game did not finish until after midnight. When the game was over, Betts took a shower and completed all of his postgame routines.

Bostons temperature dropped below freezing that night. As the press stormed Fenway completing the postgame interviews and getting pictures, Betts snuck out to the Boston Public Library and brought the homeless people sheets of leftover foods.

It is amazing that after a huge win, his head was still focused on helping the community. Betts did not do this for fame or publicity but rather out of the goodness of his heart.

No one knew that he was sneaking out except for Lou Merloni who went with him and posted a tweet on Twitter. If Merloni did not post the tweet, this act of kindness would have gone dismissed.
