When 30-year-old Alyssa Carter of Middleboro created The Celeste and Sydney Recovery Fund, her goal was to raise $20,000.   Her cousin is 18-year-old Sydney Corcoran.  Sydney and her mom, 47-year-old Celeste, were both badly injured in the Boston Marathon bombings, with Celeste losing both legs to amputation.   After Alyssa posted her fund on GoFundMe.com, $200,000 was raised in the first 24 hours.  With publicity of a visit to the mom and daughter by Bradley Cooper, the donations have grown to $580,000 as of yesterday.  Visit GoFundMe.com/BelieveinBoston.com to donate.
