An out-of-control drinking party last Friday night in Middleboro spilled over into the Everett Street neighborhood, and it took several cops to bring the melee under control.  When it was all said and done, 37-year-old Lynn Jeffrey was arrested for disorderly conduct, interfering with police, resisting arrest, assault and battery on an officer and delivering liquor to a person under 21.

Middleboro police officers were assisted by state troopers and sheriffs deputies when teens from the drinking party were roaming the neighborhood, smashing bottles and fighting.   Jeffrey's 18-year-old son Brandon was also arrested and charged with assault and battery on an officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.   Another son, who is 16, also faces similar charges.

Neighbors told police that Friday was not the first time a wild drinking party happened at the Jeffrey home.   This time, about 20 teens were rounded up, given breathalyzer tests, and held until their parents picked them up.

Lynn Jeffrey and her son Brandon were arraigned Tuesday in Wareham District Court.  There will be pretrial hearings on December 12th.
