Middle School Teacher Might Lose Job Over Harmless Photo

People are taking life all too seriously these days. Now, a beloved Middle School teacher is looking at possibly losing her job for posting a silly photo on her Facebook page.

Now before anyone gets their heads all mixed up, teachers have to be careful with what they post. However, this is a case of people taking things a bit too far.

According to the news story, Melissa Cairns put a photo up on her personal Facebook page of her students. The students had duct tape over their mouths.

Cairns didn't place the tape there, one of her students did it as a joke, and the rest followed. This was obviously a joke that everyone was in on. Now the school is contemplating whether or not to fire her. Was anyone harmed? No. Should she lose her job over this? No way. The school board, in this case, has gone too far.
