Michael’s Music Notes: Karmin Sounds Like?

Just listening to the new Karmin song "Hello"  (by the way...Fun 107 was the first radio station in New England to play it!).  A lot of people think Karmin is the lead singer.  No!  Karmin is two people.  Two people who are engaged, as a matter of fact.  Nick Noonan and Amy Heidemann.  They met in Boston while going to college (Berkley).

First time I ever saw them was that famous 3 million hitter on youtube...Nicki Minaj's "Your Love".  Then, they were on the Ellen Degenerous show...rapping a Chris Brown song...Ellen was stunned because she couldn't picture a girl like her rapping like that.

Not so surprisingly, Amy's style  reminds me a lot of Nicki Minaj in "Hello".  Could she be the female version of Eminem?  Take a listen and let me know what you think.
