FUN 107 debuted the new Taylor Swift song this morning.  As usual, TS did not disappoint!  She tore herself away from her new 5 million dollar Hyannisport mansion (next door to Ethel Kennedy - her new boyfriend Conor Kennedy's grandmother) to make a major announcement last night on youtube:  a new album coming in October (to be called "Red"), and her new song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together".

She explained the albums name "Red" to her youtube audience, "All those emotions spanning from intense love, intense frustration, jealousy, confusion, all of that, in my mind all those emotions are red. There's nothing in between. There's nothing beige about any of those feelings."

At the risk of sounding cliche, Taylor puts a piece of herself into every song she writes and sings.  She is never afraid to be vulnerable.  And her fans can't get enough.  It's why they are so passionate about her...and vice versa.

Somehow, she always manages to share songs about her heartbreaks and the pains of growing up, of loving, and of living life...without ever sounding like she's whining or a bitter girl.  Somehow, she just sounds "real".  And that's exactly what she brings to "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together".  It is an "every girl anthem".  What girl hasn't fallen head over heels for a guy, had him crush her heart, beg forgiveness, and crush her heart all over again?  Taylor Swift is one of the only human beings on earth that can capture the raw emotion of that experience and encapsulate it into a three minute hit song.  And that's precisely why she earned 57 million dollars last year.

It makes us wonder what will happen when she finally meets Mr. Right, falls in love, and gets married?

While we love her summering here in Hyannisport, hob nobbing with the Kennedy crew...it's hard not to hope for some drama between her and young Conor.  The right controversial breakup might be the recipe for a follow up "Blue" album that could also go multi-platinum and spark another world tour.
