I woke up to a flock of pink flamingos in my yard this morning.

Honestly, it's something that's more surprising than you might think.  Trust me on this one, if you're not expecting to see a flock of plastic birds in your yard, you'd be rubbing your eyes, too...especially if it was 4:30 in the morning.

Apparently, someone donated $20 to Rochester Memorial's Destination Imagination group to have the birds appear on my front lawn.  Destination Imagination teaches kids "the creative process and empowers them with the skills needed to succeed in an ever-changing world".  I'm not exactly sure when the birds arrive on the lawn, but it must have happened in the middle of the night because they were there before dawn this morning.  '

Now the only question left is, who will I flock?  You guys better keep a look out in the middle of the night, because no one is safe from these flamingos.

If you'd like to "flock" one of your friends or neighbors...you can call Sarah at (508) 322-0226.

This has been an incredibly successful fundraiser for the Destination Imagination crew, raising thousands of dollars to offset the cost of their away trips.  I have to admit, this will be the most fun I've spent $20 on in quite some time.
