Meghan Trainor’s Parents are Heading to L.A.

Meghan Trainor's parents are leaving Nantucket for L.A.

According to Cape Cod TImes, Gary Trainor and wife Kelli Trainor will be leaving the Cape for California to be closer to their three children, Meghan, Ryan, and Justin.

Gary played the Appleton Organ for the last time at the Nantucket Methodist Church on Sunday. This marked nearly 30 years of being an organist at the church for him. He came to Nantucket in 1967 to become a lifeguard over the summer and just kept coming back. He officially moved to the island when he was 29.

Gary and Kelli decided to sell their jewelry store business earlier this month.

Their kids have been living in California together for a while now pursuing their dreams. Gary Trainor says music has always been apart of his children's lives and that it has been helpful to him and his family throughout the years.
