Mc Donald's makes some changes to its meals The Golden arches is giving the ax the Deluxe Quarter Pounder burger, six chicken sandwiches, and the honey mustard and chipotle barbecue snack wraps, according to Bloomberg. It was a “rolling removal” so restaurants discontinued the sandwiches as they ran out of them, company spokeswoman Lisa McComb told Bloomberg.

It’s all part of an effort to simplify the company’s kitchen operations, as it faces increased competition from smaller, more focused chains like Five Guys and Chipotle Mexican Grill

The menu changes also come as new CEO Steve Easterbrook seeks to implement a turnaround plan including raising wages, curbing antibiotic use in its chicken, and all-day breakfast at certain outlets.  . I have been waiting for years to get an Egg Mc Muffin any time of the day .
