Mattapoisett Summer Resident Cast In Harry Potter Prequel

Katherine Waterston knows what it's like to wait in line at Oxford Creamery.  She's walked the beaches of Mattapoisett and seen her brother get married at the beachside St. Philip's Episcopal Church on Water Street.

She's also set to star in another Harry Potter prequel.  Waterston will reprise her portrayal of Tina Goldstein in the next "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" movie.  JK Rowling has finished the script according to the Boston Herald.  Filming is expected to start next month...and the film is scheduled to hit theaters at the end of 2018.

Her father, Sam Waterston (pictured below at Fantastic Beasts premier), is a star on the show Law and Order.  He and his family have owned a summer home in Mattapoisett for decades.
