Mattapoisett Reopens Beaches For Swimming

Just in time for the holiday weekend, Town Beach and Leisure Shores Beach in Mattapoisett have now reopened.  The two beaches were closed Tuesday due to high levels of bacteria.   Testing today shows that the bacterial levels have dropped to acceptable levels.

The town tests beach water every Monday throughout the summer.
