Mattapoisett Elementary 'Back To School Karaoke' [VIDEO]

Special Education Para-Professional-Mike Bowman, Principal- Rose Bowman and Associate Principal-Kevin Tavares teamed up to brighten the first day of their students who attend Mattapoisett Elementary Schools and Students everywhere who needed a dose of positivity and encouragement as another new year is brought in!

For the last 10 years, Mike has been making videos for the departing 6th graders who will be entering middle school, leaving them with words or songs of wisdom and positivity.

With some help from his colleagues, Bowman created this video for last years last day of school.

"I have been changing up the theme yearly and the carpool karaoke was a perfect fit." Bowman stated, "It was a big hit, but only those in attendance of the sixth grade awards ceremony got to see it and I thought what better way to kick off the new school year sharing it to the masses!

Bowman enjoys his career and working along side his peers at both Center and Old Hammondtown School.
