Mr. Tavares spent last night on top of the Center School in Mattapoisett, and called the Fun Morning Show this morning.

Mr. T made a bet that if the students brought in more canned goods than him for the food pantry, he would sleep on the school roof.

That bet came true last night.

Students at the Center School and Old Hammondtown School are thrilled that assistant principal, Kevin Tavares, kept his promise by sleeping out on the school roof if they could bring in more canned goods than him.

He told the Fun Morning Show today that the community has really come out and is supportive by donating more items overnight. Over 2,000 food items have been collected at the Center School for Southcoast local food banks.
