If you've driven up to Boston, or been on Facebook within the past month, then you've defintely seen the sign put up by MASSDOT to remind people to signal when changing lanes.

In true New Englandah fashion, it reads, "Changing lanes? Use yah blinkah!" It's pretty hilarious and really got a lot of people's attention.

Now, MassDOT  is holding a contest for people to come up with another clever, yet lighthearted, sign to alert drivers.

The task is to create a message that is two panels long, three lines per panel with up to 8 characters in each line. They ask that they saying be something related to distracted driving or road rage.

Just remember, no profanities and use some of Boston's famous lingo!

Tweet your messages to @MassDOT or share it with #DOTspeak on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!

Winners will receive a $50 gift card to one of MassDOT's service plaza partners, either Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Exxon Mobil or McDonald's.

Here's some of the entries that have been submitted so far:

"Be wicked smaht, don't booze it and lose it."

"You're going too ******in' fast"

"If you can read the bumpa sticka, slow down."

"Dunkin Donuts, next 300 exits" - my personal favorite
