Local Cookbook Author Will Prepare Dinner For Raffle Winner

Maria Lawton, the local cookbook author of Azorean Cooking: From My Family Table To Yours, would like to prepare a delicious dinner for you and your guests as a benefit that will support the Southcoast Hospital Auxiliary Group, with the proceeds used to purchase needed items.

This Auxiliary Fundraiser Raffle will raise monies to purchase much-needed recliners for hospital patients and their families, plus sleeper beds so family members can stay overnight in the room with sick children. The raffle grand prize winner will receive dinner for six prepared by Maria Lawton.

Raffle tickets, selling for $10 each, are going fast and can be purchased at St. Luke's Hospital Gift Shop or by calling (508) 992-1755. The raffle drawing will take place on Monday, June 2.
