Police have successfully rescued a man from the roof of the Herald News in Fall River.

The Herald News reported that police and firefighters were on scene as a man was on the second floor ledge of the Herald News building on Pocasset Street this afternoon.

Police were able to rescue the man who was standing and sitting on the ledge about 20-30 feet off the ground.

Several people captured the scene on tape earlier this afternoon until police asked people to stop videotaping the incident.
