Man Charged With Driving Drunk In Cape Cod Police Station Parking Lot
It happened Friday night at the Barnstable Police Station. Police found Michael Sheehan driving aimlessly in the back parking lot of the station.
He had driven past two large signs that said “Do Not Enter…Police Personell Only.” Officer Anton Moore, who was in his cruiser said he though Sheehan was another officer showing up for the midnight shift, but then noticed he was driving erratically. Moore stopped the man and gave him a sobriety test, which he failed.
Banrstable police say that the man was conveniently walked into the police station to be booked, and his car was towed away. Sheehan is charged with OUI and trespassing.
