Man Breaks into Oak Bluffs Home and Paints Dog Purple
Police arrested a man on Saturday after responding to calls for a report that he had stolen a vehicle, crashed it, then fled on foot, but he did a lot more than just that...
The Cape Cod Times says that Felix Reagan was charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with the intent to commit a felony, possession of a class A substance, larceny of a motor vehicle, cruelty to animals, destruction of property, possession of a class E substance and two counts of assault and battery on a police officer.
At around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday police responded to calls about a stolen vehicle that was crashed. 10 minutes after the call, police responded to a residence on Pinewood Lane where the resident had arrived home to find a first-floor window forced in, items stolen and their dog covered in purple paint.
When Reagan was caught he was found with prescription pills, a driver's license and credit cards that matched the resident of Pinewood Lane and also had purple paint on his pants.
