Bring in 2018 by making a difference in your community!

On Friday December 29th, learn how you can give back even after the holiday season has passed at the Make A Difference Expo.

This event, hosted by Miss Massachusetts Jillian Zucco, will feature nonprofit organizations and groups that are in need of volunteers sharing information on how individuals of all ages can get involved.

A Boston Children’s Hospital Blood Mobile will be set up in the parking lot for those willing to help restock their low blood supply. To make an appointment to donate, log on here and use the code code KNIGHTSM.

Those attending are asked to bring a new baby/children’s hygiene product (toothbrush, toothpaste, baby wipes, baby body wash, etc.) to help restock shelves at Gifts to Give or canned goods/nonperishables to donate to local food banks after the holidays.

In addition, there will be entertainment and refreshments, as well as helping activities for children.

Make sure to stop by the Make A Difference Expo to learn how you can make a difference in your community.

The event will take place on December 29th from 1 PM to 6 PM and will take place at Knights of Columbus Hall on Route 6 in Mattapoisett. For more information or to register your volunteer group, email JillianZucco@Gmail.com.
