Black Friday sales have started leaking into Thanksgiving. And now Macy's says they plan to open even early this year than they did last year.

Macy's has become the first retail chain to announce their plan of attack for the holiday shopping season. The department store says this year they will be opening stores across the country at 6pm on Thanksgiving Day so shoppers can get started on the savings.

That's two hours earlier than last year!

Last year was the first time Macy's had opening on Thanksgiving Day and they say the feedback from employees was positive. According to the retailer most shifts were filled voluntarily and lots of employees "appreciated the opportunity to work on Thanksgiving so they could have time off on Black Friday."

What do you think? Too early to be open on Thanksgiving Day? I mean that's barely halftime of the second football game!
