Thanksgiving is around the corner and it looks like Black Friday is going to start even earlier on the holiday than usual.

Macy's has announced that they're going to open their doors even earlier this Thanksgiving. Black Friday will begin at 6pm on Thanksgiving Day at Macy's. The store opened at 8pm last year (and also in 2012). This change does not apply to Massachusetts stores. Shoppers will have to wait until the stroke of midnight to begin their Black Friday festivities.

More retailers have been opening on Thanksgiving night including Target, Khols, and J.C Penney. Two years ago, Target and WalMart even started offering holiday discounts on Thanksgiving night. Macy's has stated that opening earlier is "in response to the significant, sustained customer interest in last year's opening on Thanksgiving". Macy's says its employees can get higher pay if they work Thanksgiving and take Black Friday off.

What do you think? Do you think it's unfair for people to work on Thanksgiving and the whole Black Friday craze is getting out of hand or are you excited to for Black Friday to start earlier this year?
