I have some news my friends, I am leaving the Fun Morning Show. Thursday, October 29th, 2015 will be my last day.

These past two years have flown by, it doesn't even feel like it's been two years actually, but it has.  It's going to sound cliché, but I had a lot of fun on the morning show with Michael and Gazelle!  They are two people that I am so glad I got the chance to get to know, work with and befriend.  Michael has taught me so much, as a co-host, as a boss and as a friend.  Gazelle has shown me what a genuinely kind, giving, caring person looks like, as he is the epitome of one.  These two are the reason I don't mind getting up at 3am to get ready for work.  These two have made me laugh every single day, and they are what I will miss most about Fun 107.

Now, it kind of sounds like I don't want to go...and believe me, I struggled with this decision for a long time!  It wasn't an easy one to make.  However, when it came down to it, I had to do what was going to make me the happiest and what was going to benefit my husband and I the most.  I weighed pros and cons and in the end, the decision to move on ended up being the best one.

As for where I am going?  First of all, it's no secret that I love country music.  It's my passion, it's my home.  I wanted to get back to working in country, so when the opportunity came, I took it.  I'll be the new Afternoon Drive Host at Cape Country 104 in Hyannis, starting on November 2nd.  In addition to hosting afternoons there, I will also be the new Midday Host on heritage station, WQRC, 99 The Q, also beginning November 2nd.  While I am extremely excited to be taking on this new opportunity, and getting the chance to work with some super talented people, I have even more news.

Since I started in radio more than a decade ago, my biggest dream was to work in Boston.  I've spent my whole career working hard with the goal of Boston in mind.  To me, Boston is the 'holy grail'.  I can honestly tell you, I've never wanted anything more in my life than to get a shot to work in Boston radio.  It's something I think about every single day.  It feels completely surreal even writing this right now, but I have finally reached that goal.  I am so absolutely ecstatic to tell you, that I have been hired as an On Air Personality at Mix 104.1 in Boston!  I can't even put into words how excited I am!  In fact, when I called my husband to tell him, I couldn't even speak, I just started crying...happy tears!

It is bittersweet to be moving on, but it's a part of life.  I hope you will wish me well in my new radio adventures and I thank you so much for being a part of my life for the past two years.  I will miss all of the listeners and everyone at Fun 107!  Thank you all for allowing me the great opportunity to be a part of your life each morning, it's been a privilege.
