After Paris and New York, Boston finally got a turn to host its own Fashion Week (September 27 – October 5)!

As you can imagine, there was show after show of models fiercely strutting down shiny runways with big beautiful hair, crazy makeup, and outfits you can’t even dream of a place to wear.

But this year, for the first time ever, they added a little something different to THE LAUNCH showcase.

For the last 17 Boston Fashion Weeks, LAUNCH was the kick-off runway show. This year, it still featured a handful of hand-picked local designers—Tatiana Tejedor, Sasha Thomas, Carlos Villamil, and Sammi Yang.

But instead of just another catwalk, LAUNCH this year became an exhibit.

Each designer—a recent grad of one of New England’s top design schools—was paired with a local photographer who took incredible glamour shots of models wearing each line. And here's the great news:  Even though Design Week ended Saturday, you can still see the photo installations for free at Copley Place’s Center Court. So you can get some fashion inspiration and put it to use right away at Copley.

Try to get there before they’re taken down today (October 11).
