Liam Payne Goes on a Date With Leona Lewis

Uh oh. Teenage hearts everywhere are about to combust. Just weeks after One Direction's Liam Payne broke up with girlfriend Danielle Peazer, 24, the 19-year-old singer went back on the prowl to find a new lady love, and boy did he find one.

Payne must be mending his broken heart quickly, because he's been seen out and about with 27-year-old Leona Lewis, the 2006 winner of 'X Factor UK,' for two nights this past week.

Payne broke up with Peazer just two weeks ago, but did reveal to The Sun (via ONTD) that it's a priority of his to remain close to her, considering she was his first love. "Danielle is great, I really hope we can still be friends. I bought her a car for her birthday, but she really isn’t fussed by money or fame," he said.

Despite the numerous supposed dates he and Leona shared, he did admit to The Sun that the two only met for drinks, but in an interview with Access Hollywood, he confessed he found her beautiful and that he always liked her. "Liam has never made any secret of his feelings for Leona," said a family source. "It hardly went down well last year with Danielle when he practically admitted he had a crush on her."

According to another source, though, it was Payne's rising fame with his band and the constant time apart that lead to the demise of he and Peazer's relationship. "She would have loved to have seen more of Liam, but his career had to come first," said the source. "It’s sad they’ve had to part. But you could understand why a woman like Leona Lewis would be able to cope with Liam’s superstar status."

We have to admit that Liam and Leona would make for a very hot couple!
