I just made and deleted a not so great molestation joke. Sorry guys. I am really sleepy.  — Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham who usually receives criticism for appearing nude on the HBO hit series, Girls, has come under fire for something else. She hosted SNL for the first time this past Saturday and for one skit, "Biblical Movie", she stripped down portraying her character Hannah from Girls. This irritated one of her Twitter followers who tweeted at her saying, "You don't always have to get naked." With that, Dunham replied a bit sarcastically, "Please tell that to my uncle, mister. He's been making me!" She has since deleted the offensive tweet and apologized tweeting:

Dunham said that she was unaware of the large audience SNL draws which is much different than the smaller following of her show, Girls, and never intended to upset anyone.

I have to say, as a big fan of the show SNL, I didn't love Lena Dunham as the host.  I gave her a chance, but she wasn't my favorite choice as host.  Now, after her distasteful joke, I'm really not a fan.  It's just not funny and I can't see how she thought it would be.
