Leah Says Scientology Wants Her To Lose ‘Dancing With The Stars’

On Monday’s episode of “Dancing With The Stars,” Leah Remini opened up about her split with the Church of Scientology.  “The church wants me to fail,” the actress told dance partner Tony Dovilani.   She said that they want to tell their parishioners that’s what happens when you leave the church.

But her sharing that with her partner and the audience did not go over well with the church.  “We know this may come as a surprise to someone as self-absorbed as Ms. Remini, but we could care less if she wins or loses on “Dancing With the Stars” a church spokesperson said in a statement released to “Good Morning America.”
