It's already the tallest building in New York City, but when the building is completed, the 1,776 foot tower well be nearly the tallest in the Western Hemisphere.   It was hoped that the last pieces of the 408 foot spire that will top the building would happen today.  But due to the weather, that will happen at a later date.  The glimmering new building replaces the twin towers that were taken down by the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.  It is scheduled to open for business in 2014.
