Kohl’s Staying Open For 5 Days Straight

Don't worry all you last-minute shoppers, Kohl's has your back this holiday season.The company announced it will stay open 24 hours from 6 a.m. on Dec. 19 and 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, for a grand total of 132 hours of shopping potential, according to WCVB.com.

That gives shoppers a last chance to finish up their lists on "Super Saturday" and the rest of the weekend before Christmas, which retail analytics firm Shoppertrak expects to be almost as busy as Black Friday this year.

While Black Friday sales were down, numbers for the month of November were up 5.4% from last year. Also, stores that opened up on Thanksgiving instead of midnight on Black Friday saw the benefits of extended hours, which Kohl's is hoping to see again for their 5 day event.

Since items ordered online during that period might not make it on time, in-store shopping will be your best bet. Of course, you could always risk ending up like many people last year who didn't have their gifts on Christmas when Amazon and UPS missed a ton of deliveries. But, I'd suggest just taking advantage of the extended hours at Kohl's.
