Knife Fight In New Bedford Leads To Stabbings

It happened Friday afternoon in the 100 block of Hope Street in New Bedford.   Police say what began as an argument between two men escalated into a knife fight.

One man was stabbed in the abdomen and taken to Rhode Island Hospital where he was taken into surgery.  The other man was stabbed in the arms and hands and taken to St. Luke's.   New Bedford police say they expect to file charges in the case.
