I love hearing heart-warming stories about people and animals...especially ones with kittens!

On Sunday May 18th, at Apponagansett Park in South Dartmouth, a cat named Griffin, got loose and ran up a 40-ft tree and was stuck there for over 24 hrs. If the owner was anything like me, she'd be freaking out the entire time!

The owner of the cat did just about everything she could do, including calling the fire department, but unfortunately, no one was able to help.

Luckily, when the owner called the Humane Society and Shelter in Dartmouth, a woman came over with her brother's truck and rescued the kitty!

Phew!

It was noted that the brother either works for or owns Signature Signs in Dartmouth.

Thank goodness for the kind-hearted people in this community!
