Kim Kardashian Shares Her Family’s Ridiculously Over-the-Top Christmas Card [PHOTO]
Kim Kardashian once again used her blog for the forces of evil — this time by sharing the Kardashian’s 2012 family Christmas photo.
The entire clan is decked out in all white and surrounded by silver confetti and white balloons, and the whole thing reads more “professional photo shoot” than “warm, loving family.”
The card features the whole group: Kim, Kylie Jenner, Rob Kardashian, Bruce Jenner, Mason Disick, Scott Disick, Penelope Disick, Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian-Odom, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Kendall Jenner.
Pretty sure we also saw some maids a-milking and lords a-leaping in there somewhere.
Also featured is Mercy, the teacup Persian kitten gifted to Kim by her skirt-wearing boyfriend Kanye West — the kitten who was apparently good enough for photo ops but not for Kim to keep. (Claiming “allergies,” Kim gave her to one of her sister’s assistants a while back, and the poor kitty got sick and died in early December.)
Notably absent? Kanye himself. Either because he hasn’t impregnated Kim yet with another Kardashian for Mama Kris to manage or because he’s finally wised up and realized he doesn’t want any further photographic evidence of his association with these people.
But even within the family itself, not everyone could be present at the shoot since they were busy with their “careers.” But that hardly mattered.
“We pretend that we’re always together, [but it's really] the power of cameras and Photoshop,” Khloe recently told Ellen DeGeneres, mentioning that she herself had to be digitally added in later. Khloe’s husband Lamar and her half-sister Kendall (and all of her mile-long legs) also had to be photoshopped in.
You know what they say: The family that’s photoshopped together stays together.
Famewhoring photo-ops aside, the Kardashians always gather on Christmas Day — regardless of which cultures they’re offending, television shows they’re pushed into hosting or public spotlights they happen to be soaking in during the holiday season.
As Khloe claims, “Every Christmas, we’re always together. Step-brothers, sisters, everything. All 10 kids, and then everyone’s girlfriend, boyfriend, this, that … The older we get, the more we stick together.”
Not necessarily because they want, but because their contracts say they have to.
