Looks like you may want to L'eggo your Eggo after all. The Kellogg Company has issued a multi-state recall on the waffles due to listeria concerns.

Kellogg Co. announced on Monday that they were voluntarily recalling 10,000 cases of Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat waffles because of the potential for them to have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The company says it was a routine test that turned up the "potential for contamination", but no illnesses have been reported. They add that no other products were affected.

Kellogg says the affected Eggo Waffles were distributed to several stores in 25 states, including Massachusetts.

Other affected states are CO, CT, DE, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, VT, WI and WY.
