Mashpee Commons is working together with the YWCA to bring a continued awareness of the need for winter outwear in the Cape Cod and Southcoast area.

This coat drive was originally scheduled for January 23rd but moved due to inclement weather.

Beginning Monday, January 11th, we'll be promoting the Keeping Warm on Both Sides of the Bridge campaign encourage the community to donate their extra winter coats, hats, gloves, and scarves to help those less fortunate.

If you were on the receiving end of some great new winter clothes this Christmas, then you likely have some extra items you no longer need. Make room in your closets and mud rooms, bag up those items and bring it by Mashpee Commons on Saturday, January 30th.

The Rock & Fox Morning Show will be on hand from 10a - 2pm to collect these items and hopefully, be able to provide dozens of local Cape and Southcoast residents with the items needed for another frigid New England winter.

As an added incentive, you'll automatically be entered to win gift cards from participating Mashpee Commons stores just for dropping off a coat. You'll even be entered into a raffle to win a VERY popular pair of tickets for Adele's SOLD OUT show at TD Garden on September 15th!

After all of the items are collected, the YWCA will distribute the items throughout the Cape and Southcoast areas.
