The murder trial of ex-New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez has resumed after a brief delay over a note from a juror.

Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh began Thursday's session by calling up lawyers and Hernandez to discuss the note.

She didn't disclose its contents. Court resumed after about 15 minutes.

He has pleaded not guilty to the June 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.

A state police lieutenant is testifying Thursday about footprints left near Lloyd's body.
